  • Global trends and challenges

This is what you do

If you have ideas for other sessions than the above listed sessions, you can use this call for special sessions. Special sessions provide an opportunity for projects or any group of authors to present their work. The format can be either a thematic session following a standard session format (i.e. oral presentations), or an open format session (i.e. workshops, panel discussions or round tables).

Proposals for a special session (max 1 page) must include information on: 1) title and format of the proposed special session, 2) Names/affiliation of the organizer(s) (including contact info), and 3) Session description (significance of the topic and rationale for the proposed session).

A special session must comprise at least 3 papers, typically, with the session organizer/chair being an author and presenter of one of the papers. The session organizer/chair is responsible for the complete organization of the session, including reviewing abstracts and selecting presenters. All participants and speakers in a special session, including organizers, must pay the registration fee. Like regular session tracks, special session tracks have a duration of 1 hour and 20 minutes, and they will be held during the conference parallel with the regular session tracks.

Proposals for special sessions must be submitted latest on January 31, 2025 to symposium@crt.dk with the name of the file being the special session title (abbreviated, if necessary). Proposals will be evaluated by the conference Scientific Committee based on the criteria of relevance, timeliness, and novelty, as well as the qualifications of the session organizer. Answers can be expected mid-February.

We are looking forward to seeing you on Bornholm in September 2025!

 Andreas Skriver Hansen, conference organizer,

On behalf of The Scientific Committee
